Can't catch up! HA!

So..... I'm great at keeping up with clients BUT apparently a little challenged when it comes to this blog!! Well, at least, ever since I started using Facebook as a blog... if you want to preview some of my recent sessions, just check out all the "sneek peeks" I've posted on my Facebook profile. I had 16 sessions last weekend, and 14 this past weekend and I've been keeping this pace for a couple of months now - so, blogging has kinda been procrastinated. At leastmy blog is more up to date than my dental check ups - ugh! Now THERE'S something I'm embarrased about! Hee.... hee....

I've had such fun sessions recently!! It was a little cold this past weekend, but everyone was all bundled up and we just ran around to keep warm.

Instead of actually trying to catch up on my blog from where I left off until now, I thought I'd at least pop on here and start with where I am TODAY! Here are just a few of my favorite images from my recent sessions.... and I promise to keep up from this point forward. :)

Lorena and Victor

These two were as happy as they look! They smiled even when I wasn't taking pictures!

Baby Luke!

Ahhhhh - an air conditioned session. Woo-hoo!! :)

Yes, in the interest of keeping this new one from breaking a sweat, we stayed indoors for most of his session. And he gave me some great moments! Love it!

Nate is ONE!

I did Nate's one-year portraits just a few weeks ago and now his rockin' party!!!

All the color and fun of this party is spectacular - have you ever seen such a summertime-fun looking table? This was a fun Saturday afternoon!

Ballas Family

This little one couldn't help but look sweet! And she was as nice and happy as she looks! (how do they ever say no to those eyes! HA!)

Kamden: 6 Months

Always, always love hanging out with this fam! And, yes, I have two Kamdens that are photographed around the same time.... HA!

Big brother was really "big" for this session - first time I've seen him interested in "taking care" of his little brother - precious!

It was a hot and muggy evening, but the light was so pretty and they even jumped in the water at the end to cover any sweat!

Kamden: 9 Months

OK - this little one may only be 9 months, but he gets around like a "big boy" - I think he looks TOO big standing up by the tree.

I have really enjoyed seeing this family all year and getting to know them a little - even when we have to endure heat and fight mosquitos (did I spell that right?)

Lawrence Family

I love it when my work allows me to visit with friends I haven't seen in awhile! These boys have both grown tall since I last saw this family!

I think my favs in this bunch are the ones with the boys on the wood steps - the color and their little expressions in those was easy to edit and shows some personality! :) But the fav personality shots are when they were climbing on top of each other - fun!

Huffines Family

2 Little ones can be a handful in this heat! Poor mommy and daddy trying to get everyone in place without breaking a sweat - HA! It was fun to meet this family. The little blue dress and blue hairbow are just as sweet as can be, in my opinion.....

Baby Annalie is here!

I got to watch Logan become a big boy through his first year and now he's BIG BROTHER - wow!! And a sweet big brother he is! But enough about him..... click HERE to see sweet Annalie's debut!

Cindy and Fam!

I always enjoy getting to hook up with this fam!! So much fun! I was supposed to get to see them back on the weekend of the flood, but we finally got to hook up. I hope they enjoy these images - I sure enjoyed the time I got to spend with them!

Aiden: 1 Year

It has been sweet to watch this little one sprout up over the past year! Time flies! And little ones don't stay little long. We did this up at Cindy's Aunt's house, so we actually got some air conditioning breaks during this session - nice!

Hadden: 9 Months

Wow - we're getting really close to Hadden's big one-year celebration - can't believe it! It truly seems like just a few weeks ago that I found my way to his house on a rainy early fall day.

It was good to spend this morning with Hadden, Morgan, and Dustin! I especially like the sunglasses pics! :)

My time with Vonda and Ella was a blast - yes, it was hot, OF COURSE - but we had fun, they were both BEAUTIFUL and we had visitors!!

Hot, HOT evening, but this brother and sister didn't care! I love their images together - sweet! I enjoyed meeting this family as they tried to hard to look "cool" and hold back the sweat. HA!

This was one of those morning sessions that just had such pretty light! I enjoyed meeting this family and they made it SO easy to capture beautiful moments. Fun!

Jax: 3 Months

OK - so THIS was REALLY a session that almost got rained out. I left my house in the bright sunshine.... but by the time I got to Ellington, it was a downpour!! We sat in the car for about 15 min and it finally stopped - I'm so glad we decided to wait it out and so glad I got to see this cutie!

Gammons Family

It was "mighty hot" on Saturday morning..... but I think I managed to edit it all out! Whew! We met nice and early, but it didn't seem to matter - LOTS of humidity! But this family made it easy.... easy to be around and easy to capture!

Thatcher

This session almost got rained out - but the rain held off and the lighting was great and Mr. Thatcher was even better! He was just plain fun. And all boy! I enjoyed hanging out with Thatcher for a little while.

Reese: 1 Year

A milestone session for sweet Reese - she's already one year big! She was definitely having fun during this session. She wasn't feeling great for her 9 month session, and she SO made up for it with all the smiles this time.

Weston: 6 Months

So good to see this handsome little guy again. Weston is 6 months big and a perfect little poser - love these facial expressions!!!

Luke: 3 Months

We thought we might get rained out on this Friday morning, but it turned out to be perfect weather! Just enough clouds to keep away the heat....

Little Luke was a trooper! I pushed and pushed and he just kept going.... but then he collapsed in Daddy's arms and decided that if this crazy photo stuff was going to continue, he was going to just sleep through it. I love sleepin' pics!

And baby makes 8!!

With baby #6 on the way, this family braved the heat on the hottest weekend of the year, so far..... but hopefully, you'll find no sweat in their images! :)

You may want to know if baby #6 will be a boy or girl, but I can't tell you - no one knows! It's a suprise..... I always liked the Brady Bunch growing up.... so, I'm pulling for a boy!

Goodbye to new friends!

I have only gotten to know these girls over the past year, but have loved our sessions together - and now they're moving away. This was our last little session together (unless we get to hook up in their new location!) and it has been fun to get to know them.

Mommy and daddy let them get in the water on this hot Sunday morning. And I loved it! Not to mention how excited Lauren and Emily were! It was fun to watch them enjoy the cool water and balance on slippery rocks. :) I will miss watching them grow!!!

Sweet Lottie and Fam!

This was an early morning session out at Cloverbottom. So far, the season hadn't been too hot and I expected this 8:30am session to be nice and cool, but boy was it a hot one! Wow! May 22-23 turned out to be the hottest weekend of 2010 - HA! I was melting, but I was behind the camera, so that wasn't so important. Little miss Lottie was holding her own, but mommy and daddy work working to fight the sweat - whew! But it was worth it - Lottie was easy and gave me some pretty smiles.

Lottie's puppy Clara was also present, but didn't quite make it into any pictures.... she wasn't exactly into the session - running around was more her preference! Then she got hot and wanted to rest in the truck!

Tyler: One Year

Another little one has gotten big! Tyler is such a sweetie and was very easy going for his one year session. I guess he wanted to show his maturity. :)

It was a little muddy at Ellington for this session, and I sunk in ankle deep in mud a few times.... I think Tyler was jealous of my muddy jeans.... he wanted in on the down and dirty fun!

Baby Lucy

OK, another beautiful nursery - totally sweet! I loved meeting Lucy and her family....

Sweet Little Abigail!

I went to Williamson Medical Center yesterday to meet this sweet, little baby girl. Mama and Daddy did not know if big brother Liam was going to have a little baby brother or sister - and now they're having fun with PINK! Congrats Meghan, Clint and Liam. She's beautiful.

Frost Family

I love the colors and smiles in this family - this little pink dress was great - along with sweet eyes and hair curls! :) So glad we had pretty weather and I got to meet this family!

Baby Jovie is here!!

O'Rourke Family

This sweet family is about to be split up....  Daddy is headed to Afghanistan for a year.  I was honored to be able to spend time with them on one of their last days together.  You can definitely tell that Daddy will miss his little man and his wife - they are very sweet and loving together!

Keenan Family!

Evening light up in Goodlettsville at Moss-Wright Park.  The weather was gorgeous - it's so much easier to chase the little ones before the summer heat kicks in - HA!

Lilly Family

Back at my new favorite spot: Ellington!  When I last spent time with this family, there were only 3 - but now baby brother is in on the action.... and big sister is just as BEAUTIFUL.  What a fun session!  I enjoyed the sunny day and time with this family.

Becker Brothers!

This session introduced me to a brand new location - I'm so glad I discovered this cozy little spot over at Ellington Agricultural Center.  I love the tall grass and shadows!

These guys were fun to meet and watch.....  and mama's love is very evident in these images.  Both of these boys were a bundle of energy - you can look at big brother and see that he's ready to run the very second that we finished capturing the image and little brother was watching and waiting for his turn to be big enough to chase big brother!!!  Hope mama's got a lot of energy, too.  :)

Kamden: 6 Months

Yes, I got to see both "my" Kamden's on Saturday - HA!  The rain on Saturday held off for a 3-month old Kamden AND a 6-month old Kamden.  Yay!

Kamden: 3 Months

Saturday was a rainy, rainy day!  When Kamden arrived for his session, we sat in our cars wondering if we should even try in between rain showers.  We finally decided to go for it and the rain stopped - whew!  It was so fun to spend time with this family on the day before Easter.  And Kamden's hair is AWESOME - I love it!

Sisters!

I love all this pretty hair in the evening sun!!  This session was out at Cloverbottom and I just love the early evening sun on the old barn and little wood slat house on the grounds.  It was fun to meet these pretty girls and watch them play together.

Aiden: 9 Months

My last session with Aiden was in the cold winter - so it's fun to be out and about!  I love that he looks so big and so happy in these images.  I think my favorite is Aiden and mom cuddling.
