Baby William

Just wait until you see how cute this little gentleman is! I actually contacted this family on short notice to help put together my Christmas card samples and got to spend some time with this adorable little boy. See if you can guess which one of his Halloween costume photos is my favorite!

Here is William and family in slideshow: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/William/

Alex and Hannah

This is another family that I forced myself upon on Saturday! :) If you're doing photos with me in the near future, you'll no doubt see them on my Christmas card samples! This sweet brother and sister were fun to spend a little time with. Jordan had a big time going along with me for this shoot - although the mere mention of the name "Hannah" had her hopes up that perhaps Hannah Montana would show up at this shoot.

Thank you Alex and Hannah for giving me some fun shots for my Christmas card samples!

Dennis, Heather, Tyler, and Zachary

I had so much fun visiting with Dennis and Heather and family on Saturday morning.... the boys had been cooped up in the car for awhile, so we got to do a lot of chasing.... HA! For a Saturday in August, it actually wasn't too hot..... but the boys did seem to be on the brink of dehydration a couple of times.... especially when I was trying to be funny playing "drop the sippy cup" and the cup kinda disappeared under a porch - REAL funny, Kim!

Thanks for spending Saturday morning with me. I hope you love these moments!

Fallon and Justin

I absolutely loved spending Tuesday evening with Fallon and Justin out at Cannonsburgh. The light was beautiful, they were having fun, and little Dalyce was adorable. Thanks so much Fallon and Justin for letting me take tons of shots - it was really hot, but they let me go on and on and on....

I learned that Fallon and Justin have been together for eight years and will be getting married in October. And I also enjoyed seeing how much they both loved their little Dalyce - such a sweet family!

Angela, Freddie & boys

The sun popped back out for this session. It was hot for Angela and family, but the color of the sun looks great with all their red!

Angela and I are good friends and used to be co-workers a few years ago: that's why I refer to this shoot as "Angela and family".... it's so neat that by doing my photography, I not only get to see friends when I visit the Chattanooga area, but I get to see their families, too. It's really neat.

Andy, Stacey, and Brady

The sun finally went behind the clouds for a little while so that it cooled down just a little bit for this family shoot. Stacey's blue dress made it so fun to take these pictures. It added just the right mix of colors to this collection of moments. I love it!

Brady was great - he actually sat down and let me catch some sweet smiles! I don't often get such a treat from a little guy. Thanks, Brady!

Andy and Stacey just look so happy in this session - I noticed that over and over while I was editing. I enjoy watching them in these images....

Christie and Sam

This session gets the prize for hottest session yet! It was VERY hot in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon. Sam and cousin, CJ, would have much rather been swimming or just about anywhere other than trying to sit still and smile for photos. But Christie held Chuck E. Cheese over their heads just enjoy to get some really great shots!

Sam's blue eyes are SO blue. I'm excited that he looked my way long enough to catch them just a few times!

Thanks, Christie, for dragging the boys around in the heat to get these images - it was fun to visit and catch up - even in such miserable heat!

Cousins!

OK. so this shoot was all about the four cousins, but I couldn't resist opening with this shot of Robin and Alyssa. I used to work with Robin and was so excited to get to see Alyssa on Saturday as well as the nieces that I'd heard Robin talk about. These four pretty girls (and 2 moms) had to endure some major heat to pull this off, but you can't tell by looking at these shots - they smiled right through it all.

Rob, Courtney, Izzy, and Leila

I had never met Rob and Courtney or their sweet little family before, but I was so excited to see Izzy's head full of curls jump out of the car on top of Signal Mountain Saturday morning! I don't know if I quite captured her beauty or not, but I sure chased it around as fast as I could....

I had fun spending my morning with this family - it always puts the world in perspective and makes life seem a little more peaceful when you watch a baby sleep.

Sarah, Josh, and Shelaine

I met up with this family out at Battlefield Park on Friday night. It was a pretty night for capturing moments such as these. I have met Sarah before and it was neat to get a chance to photograph her smiles and poses. She's a sweetie.

I had not spent time with Josh and Shelaine before, but it was neat getting to know this part of a family that I've known and loved for several years. I hope I caught the smiles and looks that speak to who they are....
