Baby Logan

Check out this sweetie! Baby Logan was three months old for his first Christmas. He is so very handsome and his family is just a lot of fun to spend time with. I'm so glad that I'm getting to watch him grow up during his first year.

Here are his images from our time together on Sunday: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Logan3Months/

Rice Family

I met up with this fun family on the day after Christmas - who'd a thought we could be out and about without coats or jackets! It was a warm day, but cloudy - however, we managed to stay dry!

I really enjoyed spending time with this family just after all the Christmas celebrations. Justin and Phyllis are truly blessed! These kids and grandkids are as loving as they are beautiful!

Merry Christmas!!!!

So sorry to be out of touch for awhile.... we just returned from a super-fun family vacation to Disney World!!! We enjoyed every minute of it! I'm still editing all 500 of those images, of course, so I'll post a slideshow of our special time away soon......

Ethan

I'm SOOOO grateful to Ethan's mommy and daddy for bringing him out in the cold this past Sunday afternoon!! They had every right to keep him warm and just do an indoor shoot - but we'd have missed out on these beautiful images.

Ethan is a handsome dude. I had to photoshop out a red, cold nose a couple of times, but he's otherwise just perfect.

I hope to get to spend time with this family again in the future! Thank you for coming outside on a cold Sunday afternoon.

Snodgrass Family

I'll bet you'll never guess how cold we were during this shoot - that's because little Alec and Wyatt don't show it at all - they didn't care! They had open space to run and leaves to throw!

Yes, it was cold, but I had a great time being around this family! Thanks for coming out on a cold Sunday afternoon. I love these shots: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Snodgrass08/

Katie

Katie and I had some fun together - well, I must say that Katie wasn't thrilled with me the WHOLE time I was at her house.... but maybe I'll grow on her! I just had to include the "crying with Santa hat" photo in this slideshow because it totally expresses how she felt about pictures at that particular moment. HA!

Katie is a sweetie and I enjoyed spending a little while with her family on Saturday morning. I look forward to seeing them again soon!

Whitt Family

Talk about some fun! The two little ones in this family were absolutely precious! I only had to chase them because it made them giggle! :)

I enjoyed so much seeing this family enjoy each other and getting to capture moments with these sweet children!

Thank you, Kala for setting this up and choosing me to capture these images for you! I enjoyed meeting all of you.

Here is their beautiful family: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Kala/

The Twining Family

Now this family..... they are definitely not strangers to me! It's such a blessing when a photo session turns into extra time to spend with good friends. This family is very important to my own family and set and example for so many. I respect them all so much..... well, maybe not Wesley so much in those moments that I BEGGED him to look at the camera!

Enjoy their afternoon here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Twining/

The Brown/Lebo Family!

It was a blast to finally meet this family. Erin and I had a session set up a month or so ago - back when the gas shortage weekend hit! I literally could not get gas the morning of our shoot back in September and had to cancel - I was SO disappointed! But on this morning after Halloween, we finally got to meet..... the WHOLE family!! The twin girls definitely stole the show, but I enjoyed getting to meet everyone you'll see in these pictures - just a really nice family. Thanks for sharing your Saturday morning with me.

Anna and Michael

I will get to photograph Anna and Michael's wedding in February and I got to meet them for the first time when we did their engagement shoot. They were so easy to spend time with! I hadn't been down to Cannonsburgh for a couple of weeks, so it was nice to get back down there and I'm really looking forward to spending more time with this couple as they get closer to their wedding date. Have fun planning!

Karen and Family

Karen, Wesley, Shane, Lanie, and "mom" were so much fun to chase around Cloverbottom on a Sunday afternoon! Special thanks to Karen for letting my daughter come along and play - she had so much fun. The boys looked so handsome in their red and miss Lanie was worth chasing to get a shot of her pretty eyes.... the weather was beautiful and we just had such a good time.

Underwood Family

What fun it was to spend time with old friends! We have known this family for many years and I really enjoyed getting to spend a little time with them on a Saturday afternoon. The little girls were so pretty and easy to capture - and you can see how much they all love each other by watching their slideshow here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Donna/

Erica

Last Saturday was a beautiful day and this shoot was perfect! (well, easy for me to say - I wasn't freezing like Erica!)

Erica was so easy to capture - and you'll quickly see why: she's just beautiful! This shoot was fun and relaxing and introduced me to a new spot out at the Cedars of Lebanon.

See Erica's senior shots here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Erica/

Baby Lily!

Wait till you see these precious blue eyes!

I got to spend a few hours with Lily last Wednesday afternoon and she gave me SO many smiles! She's a cuddly little sweetie!

You'll see more of Lily throught the next year - look for her 6 month shoot in January!

Fallon and Justin

Spending last Saturday in Shelbyville for this special event was so much fun! There are so many smiles in these images! I have really enjoyed getting to know this couple over the past few months in preparation for this special day - Fallon and Justin and Dalyce are a beautiful family. I am glad to have them as friends.

Tara and Darrell!

October 11, 2008 ~ Tara and Darrell: engagement party turned wedding!!!

All their friends and family thought they were coming out for an engagment party and got a SHOCK when the wedding started! Tears and gasps and laughs and love!

It was such a fun night! I enjoyed being a part of such a neat surprise.

Here are the images from Tara and Darrell's special night: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/TDWedding/

If you would like to purchase digitals or prints of any of their images, just go to the "purchase photos" section of my website. Enjoy!

Walden Farm

Here are some shots I got on our family outing to Walden Farm on Saturday! What a fun morning! It cost us a grand total of $3 to enjoy all this.

Jordan had an absolute blast. Check out our day: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/WaldenFarm/

Bridges Academy

The boys of Bridges Academy had an exciting night! They were all dressed up and ready to perform for the "Light for the City" event with the Nashville Symphony, Nashville Choir, and Michael W. Smith at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Here are some photos we grabbed right before they went onstage: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Bridges/

Connor

So many smiles!!!! Connor is all boy and all toddler, but such a great poser and smiler. He was so much fun. And who can resist smiling when you look at his batman pictures! What a total cutie!

Here is his super cool shoot: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Connor/

Baby Logan

Baby Logan is brand new! I haven't spent time with one so tiny in a long time..... but it's great - you put him there and he just stays! Of course, the smiles are a bit more difficult.....

I really enjoyed watching mom and dad just look at baby Logan and love on him. What a special time!

Here is brand new baby Logan: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Logan/

Tanya and Lauren

I had so much fun meeting Tanya and Lauren and capturing these images. Lauren's daddy is serving in Korea and hasn't seen her since she was just a few weeks old....

Lauren is such a beautiful child and adores her mother.... she also likes to lick things! You can't help but miss that in these photos: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Lauren/

Charles, Renee, Kelly, and Michael

This was on the Friday afternoon when gas became scarce.... then we get to the pedestrian bridge and it's CLOSED! But we snuck around to the other side and got some fun Nashville shots. I especially like Kelly's pink and cowboy had in this session. :) The bright colors against the skyline are fun to watch..... Michael was none-too-thrilled about this photo session - you should see the ones I deleted! HA!

I enjoyed visiting with this family and hope to again in the future.

Eric, Caroline, and Andrew

This Saturday morning turned out unseasonably cool and even looked a little dreary at first, but the softness of the light turned out some pretty shots. I really enjoyed getting to meet this family and spend just a little time with them.

You can enjoy their photos here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Caroline/

Ella and fam!

I realize that giving Ella the headlining name in this photo shoot will somehow insinuate that she is, indeed, the most important. :) But it's simply too late to type out everyone's names!

This shoot was a lot of fun - such handsome boys and gorgeous girls! And everybody but Jackson actually seemed to enjoy themselves. Jackson is the cutie in the blue shirt - the tree-climbing photo perhaps best expresses how he really felt about this photo-shoot idea! Perhaps asking kids to sit still in the heat and just smile when there's a playground in sight had something to do with it....

I'm so glad they all came out for this session - I'm very happy with the results..... I hope you guys enjoy them.

Here are all the images from their session: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Ella/

Tom, Gwen, and Dylan

Saturday morning came early as I headed out at 5:00am to drive to Chattanooga, but I found such a great new photo spot when I met this family at Greenway Farm. It was so much fun to find this spot! AND I got to see an old friend who I've missed for almost 4 years! I enjoyed getting to see Gwen and her family. I hope they had a good time exploring this park with me - slippery rocks and all.

I think this family is beautiful in these photos. As you'll see, even though Dylan was all-boy and more interested in climbing than posing, he did his part by throwing in some great poses and smiles!

Thanks Gwen and family for spending your Saturday morning with me - I really hope you are pleased with your happy images!

Baby William

Just wait until you see how cute this little gentleman is! I actually contacted this family on short notice to help put together my Christmas card samples and got to spend some time with this adorable little boy. See if you can guess which one of his Halloween costume photos is my favorite!

Here is William and family in slideshow: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/William/

Alex and Hannah

This is another family that I forced myself upon on Saturday! :) If you're doing photos with me in the near future, you'll no doubt see them on my Christmas card samples! This sweet brother and sister were fun to spend a little time with. Jordan had a big time going along with me for this shoot - although the mere mention of the name "Hannah" had her hopes up that perhaps Hannah Montana would show up at this shoot.

Thank you Alex and Hannah for giving me some fun shots for my Christmas card samples!

Dennis, Heather, Tyler, and Zachary

I had so much fun visiting with Dennis and Heather and family on Saturday morning.... the boys had been cooped up in the car for awhile, so we got to do a lot of chasing.... HA! For a Saturday in August, it actually wasn't too hot..... but the boys did seem to be on the brink of dehydration a couple of times.... especially when I was trying to be funny playing "drop the sippy cup" and the cup kinda disappeared under a porch - REAL funny, Kim!

Thanks for spending Saturday morning with me. I hope you love these moments!

Fallon and Justin

I absolutely loved spending Tuesday evening with Fallon and Justin out at Cannonsburgh. The light was beautiful, they were having fun, and little Dalyce was adorable. Thanks so much Fallon and Justin for letting me take tons of shots - it was really hot, but they let me go on and on and on....

I learned that Fallon and Justin have been together for eight years and will be getting married in October. And I also enjoyed seeing how much they both loved their little Dalyce - such a sweet family!

You can see the images from the evening here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Fallon/

Angela, Freddie & boys

The sun popped back out for this session. It was hot for Angela and family, but the color of the sun looks great with all their red!

Angela and I are good friends and used to be co-workers a few years ago: that's why I refer to this shoot as "Angela and family".... it's so neat that by doing my photography, I not only get to see friends when I visit the Chattanooga area, but I get to see their families, too. It's really neat.

Click here to see Angela and the boys: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Angela/

Andy, Stacey, and Brady

The sun finally went behind the clouds for a little while so that it cooled down just a little bit for this family shoot. Stacey's blue dress made it so fun to take these pictures. It added just the right mix of colors to this collection of moments. I love it!

Brady was great - he actually sat down and let me catch some sweet smiles! I don't often get such a treat from a little guy. Thanks, Brady!

Andy and Stacey just look so happy in this session - I noticed that over and over while I was editing. I enjoy watching them in these images....

Christie and Sam

This session gets the prize for hottest session yet! It was VERY hot in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon. Sam and cousin, CJ, would have much rather been swimming or just about anywhere other than trying to sit still and smile for photos. But Christie held Chuck E. Cheese over their heads just enjoy to get some really great shots!

Sam's blue eyes are SO blue. I'm excited that he looked my way long enough to catch them just a few times!

Thanks, Christie, for dragging the boys around in the heat to get these images - it was fun to visit and catch up - even in such miserable heat!

Click here for their shots: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Sam/

Cousins!

OK. so this shoot was all about the four cousins, but I couldn't resist opening with this shot of Robin and Alyssa. I used to work with Robin and was so excited to get to see Alyssa on Saturday as well as the nieces that I'd heard Robin talk about. These four pretty girls (and 2 moms) had to endure some major heat to pull this off, but you can't tell by looking at these shots - they smiled right through it all.

See their session here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Robin/

Rob, Courtney, Izzy, and Leila

I had never met Rob and Courtney or their sweet little family before, but I was so excited to see Izzy's head full of curls jump out of the car on top of Signal Mountain Saturday morning! I don't know if I quite captured her beauty or not, but I sure chased it around as fast as I could....

I had fun spending my morning with this family - it always puts the world in perspective and makes life seem a little more peaceful when you watch a baby sleep.

Sarah, Josh, and Shelaine

I met up with this family out at Battlefield Park on Friday night. It was a pretty night for capturing moments such as these. I have met Sarah before and it was neat to get a chance to photograph her smiles and poses. She's a sweetie.

I had not spent time with Josh and Shelaine before, but it was neat getting to know this part of a family that I've known and loved for several years. I hope I caught the smiles and looks that speak to who they are....

Cody

Thursday night I got to spend some time with a good friend and her son.... the rain almost didn't stop for us, but then the sun popped out just a little and we were able to get a few shots!

This was downtown Chattanooga on the Riverfront and Pedestrian Bridge area. I had a lot of fun spending a few minutes with Ginger and Cody. Although Cody was none to happy with our jokes that passers-by might think he was getting his picture made with his girlfriend......

Bella & Beckham

This afternoon I got to meet Bella and Beckham. These two children were just gorgeous. We had to pull some crazy stunts to pull some smiles, but they posed like pros - there wasn't much chasing on my part at all!

It was a lot of fun to meet Bella, Beckham, Megan and Nanny this afternoon. Thank you for letting me capture some really pretty moments.

Madlin

This is the rest of my Friday night time at Cloverbottom - this is my cousin's little girl, Madlin. Special appearances by Jordan and Madlin's baby brother, Carson.

Madlin was not thrilled with smiling and looking into the camera at the same time, but we managed to get some really sweet images. I enjoyed getting to visit with family for a little bit and I hope they enjoy these moments.

My Baby!

Tonight we went to Cloverbottom to let Jordan and Madi have some fun together. Madi is my cousin's little girl and it is a treat for them to get to run around together.

It has been a long time since I took some good shots of Jordan, so of course I enjoyed the opportunity. I love my precious girl!

I will have Madi's edited and up here sometime tomorrow.

Here are a few sweet moments with my Jordan: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/JulyJordan/

Julianne & Wesley

If only I could have as nice a tan as either one of these gorgeous kids! Julianne and Wesley were fun to try to capture in a photo.... well, I should be honest: Julianne was a dream in her dress as blue as her eyes just sitting pretty as a picture; Wesley was fun - but in his own fun world! The boy wanted NOTHING to do with these photos. I love the one near the end of mommy, Julianne and Wesley - he's finally sitting with them - but screaming! That one is a classic for those of us who were there!

Pretty Baby Lela

Sunday night, I got to spend some time with this precious little girl! It's fun to spend time with a mama and daddy who adore their little one so much..... I enjoyed watching them love her.

I love the first few photos of her sleeping.... of course, she looks to peaceful it makes me want to take a nap!

Be sure and check out their photos here and see how beautiful baby Lela is: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Lela/

Tara and Darrell

What a fun time I had meeting Tara and Darrell last night! They were so easy to photograph and endured the heat and humidity with grace. (whew! it was VERY warm!)

The sun was starting to set and created such pretty light for their engagement photos. I enjoyed our time together and am looking forward to seeing them again soon at their engagement party in a few months!

Gregory Sr Photos

Gregory and his family met me yesterday to get a few senior photos done. It was my first photo shoot in awhile that didn't involve someone under the age of 5 - so it was VERY relaxing!

Thanks, Gregory, for posing so easily and never even trying to run away from the camera. I enjoyed spending a few minutes with you.

A wild photo shoot!

Tonight was a beautiful night and we had so much fun chasing Jackson around in the grass and trees. It was funny to me because I was not the one doing all of the work! Jackson just did not want to have his photo made, so his family was doing all they could to desperately try to get a smile on his cute little face.... and sweet Allison just had to sit and keep looking pretty and happy until his smile appeared. What a beautiful family and a fun night!

Family!

We got to visit family this weekend! What a fun time we had. Sam's brother put in a brand new pool and they treated us to a weekend of lots of relaxation. It was a great visit! Before we headed out to eat on Saturday night, we stepped outside to get some photos. Our niece, Peyton, isn't little anymore - she's such a beautiful girl!

Georgia

Yesterday, I met Georgia and her family out at Cloverbottom. I had such a fun time getting to know this family. We had to beg and plead for smiles a time or two, but the girls were great posers! It was a beautiful evening and taking photos was really fun. I like these photos - it makes me smile to see a family having fun together and loving each other.

Michelle & Jenna

This afternoon, I got to photograph Michelle and Jenna..... Jenna is excited about her new baby sister who will be here so soon! Jenna is such a beautiful child - wait till you see her blue eyes in these photos.

I'm so grateful to have this family as friends. And I can't wait to see how pretty Jenna's baby sister will be - we will meet her in just a few weeks!

Alex's First Birthday!

My nephew turned one this week! We were able to take a day trip down for his party at my sister's house. You just can't be around Alex without wanting to cuddle and hold him - he is precious. After his party, all three cousins were so very tired, but we ran out to the backyard to catch a few quick photos. They are all so beautiful!
Here are the smiles we captured: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/AlexKatie

Mastropieri Family

I met the Mastropieri family this morning at Carnton Mansion in Franklin. It was my first shoot at this location and I just loved it! The weather was beautiful and the grounds were perfect. I had a lot of fun spending time with this family and trying to get both the little ones to smile at the same time. Could there be more blue eyes in one family? Wow!

Carnton Mansion is a spot that this family frequents and Andy even showed me a "den" he had built for animals on his last trip there! I'm so glad they shared this spot with me. Thank you for sharing your Saturday morning with me.
