Bolling Family

Saturday evening, Sam, Jordan, and I met up with Glenda, Paul and Caeden. Glenda and I go WAYYYYY back. We have lots of photos of the two of us long before there were husbands or little ones. It was a treat to take photos for good friends. Caeden didn't think it was quite the treat that I did - HA! I deleted a LOT of photos of Glenda or Paul trying to hold him down and make him stay in the photo.

We ended up with some really nice photos, though. It was the time of night when the orange light is just so pretty. I enjoyed our evening time together.

Parker Family

This morning I met the Parker family out at Cloverbottom Mansion. I really enjoyed getting to spend a little time with them and trying to convince Augustus to pose. He lost interest pretty fast!

They make a sweet family of three but will soon be a family of four. It was a beautiful morning to spend enjoying the outdoors and taking advantage of so many photo spots at Cloverbottom. I know it will be hot and muggy so soon - it's really nice to take advantage of a cool morning like this. To view their photo shoot, click here: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/Parker/

Diehl Family

What a fun way to spend a Tuesday evening.... I got to take photos of friends tonight. We met for just a little while to capture some family moments. I'm so happy with what the color of Joy and Gloria's dresses added to these photos. They are really beautiful girls.... who like to smile REALLY BIG! I had to work to catch their "normal" smiles.

Tina and I work together every day - I'm blessed to have her as a close friend and always enjoy our time together.

Thanks, David & Tina, for taking time out to let me take these. I had fun.

Paige and Josh

Paige and Josh were married last year..... however, Paige woke up around 4:00am on her wedding day VERY ill. She was able to get through the ceremony, but that's it - even the honeymoon had to wait! They ended up with no photos from their day that was supposed to be so special.

Paige's co-workers wanted to do something special for Paige and Josh to help them have a second chance at some of their wedding day events. So, they arranged for them to have photos made and even planned a special surprise reception for them. I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Paige and Josh and each of their parents along with a couple of their friends to take photos for them. How fun to take wedding photos on a day with none of the stresses of the wedding day! We met at Cloverbottom Mansion to spend the afternoon capturing some sweet moments before they headed to their surprise reception. Paige was just gorgeous! Josh, ran off and got lost in the woods a few times, but was otherwise dedicated to the venture.

Thank you for letting me a part of such a special event. What a caring group of co-workers and friends you have. You are blessed.

Evans Twins

I got to spend this morning with Erin and Alyssa Evans: 5-month old twins! These girls are just adorable. It was such fun to play with them and get smiles and coos, but I don't envy the workload for the Evans family - whew!

We had fun out on a sheet in the park with these girls. They were full of smiles to be outside (just not always at the same time!) and I think they enjoyed the attention we lavished on them trying to get the perfect pose.... At least at their age, you don't have to worry about their hair blowing in their face!

Here are their sweet pictures, along with a few of big sister Katie:

Jordan's B-day Weekend!

What a fun weekend we have had! We celebrated grammy's b-day on Friday, then Jordan turned FOUR on Saturday. Jordan and Katie just LOVE "The Little Gym" and enjoyed every minute of the party with friends. And it's SOOOO relaxing for the grown-ups to just stand around and watch the kids have so much fun! I enjoyed it, too. Thank you to all of Jordan's special friends who came to help us celebrate. We appreciate you sharing your day with us.

Just look at the photos to see how much fun the kids had: http://www.kvpslideshows.info/JordanBday/

Jordan and Russ

Jordan worked in our office for just a little while this spring and I had fun during our time together. She is soon to leave for Portland, OR to get married and never come back! So, her finance was in for a visit, we went to Centennial Park on an afternoon to get these photos. It had been cloudy and VERY windy all day long, but it was our only chance, so we decided to go for it and see what happened. The wind died down and the sun popped out and it was all of the sudden a beautiful evening.

We will miss you, Jordan! Please come back and visit soon.

Eden

This afternoon, I met up with Eden - she will soon be heading home to Knoxville for the summer after a year at Trevecca. We thought we might try to get some nice shots to share with her mom for Mother's Day. It was a beautiful afternoon and we had a fun time chatting about her family and future plans while walking around Scarritt Bennett Chapel and grounds.

Eden's shoot was my first official "shoot" since I set up my web site an blog. Thanks, Eden, for the opportunity. I hope you have a great summer!
