Andy, Stacey, and Brady

The sun finally went behind the clouds for a little while so that it cooled down just a little bit for this family shoot. Stacey's blue dress made it so fun to take these pictures. It added just the right mix of colors to this collection of moments. I love it!

Brady was great - he actually sat down and let me catch some sweet smiles! I don't often get such a treat from a little guy. Thanks, Brady!

Andy and Stacey just look so happy in this session - I noticed that over and over while I was editing. I enjoy watching them in these images....

Christie and Sam

This session gets the prize for hottest session yet! It was VERY hot in downtown Chattanooga on Saturday afternoon. Sam and cousin, CJ, would have much rather been swimming or just about anywhere other than trying to sit still and smile for photos. But Christie held Chuck E. Cheese over their heads just enjoy to get some really great shots!

Sam's blue eyes are SO blue. I'm excited that he looked my way long enough to catch them just a few times!

Thanks, Christie, for dragging the boys around in the heat to get these images - it was fun to visit and catch up - even in such miserable heat!

Cousins!

OK. so this shoot was all about the four cousins, but I couldn't resist opening with this shot of Robin and Alyssa. I used to work with Robin and was so excited to get to see Alyssa on Saturday as well as the nieces that I'd heard Robin talk about. These four pretty girls (and 2 moms) had to endure some major heat to pull this off, but you can't tell by looking at these shots - they smiled right through it all.

Rob, Courtney, Izzy, and Leila

I had never met Rob and Courtney or their sweet little family before, but I was so excited to see Izzy's head full of curls jump out of the car on top of Signal Mountain Saturday morning! I don't know if I quite captured her beauty or not, but I sure chased it around as fast as I could....

I had fun spending my morning with this family - it always puts the world in perspective and makes life seem a little more peaceful when you watch a baby sleep.

Sarah, Josh, and Shelaine

I met up with this family out at Battlefield Park on Friday night. It was a pretty night for capturing moments such as these. I have met Sarah before and it was neat to get a chance to photograph her smiles and poses. She's a sweetie.

I had not spent time with Josh and Shelaine before, but it was neat getting to know this part of a family that I've known and loved for several years. I hope I caught the smiles and looks that speak to who they are....

Cody

Thursday night I got to spend some time with a good friend and her son.... the rain almost didn't stop for us, but then the sun popped out just a little and we were able to get a few shots!

This was downtown Chattanooga on the Riverfront and Pedestrian Bridge area. I had a lot of fun spending a few minutes with Ginger and Cody. Although Cody was none to happy with our jokes that passers-by might think he was getting his picture made with his girlfriend......

Bella & Beckham

This afternoon I got to meet Bella and Beckham. These two children were just gorgeous. We had to pull some crazy stunts to pull some smiles, but they posed like pros - there wasn't much chasing on my part at all!

It was a lot of fun to meet Bella, Beckham, Megan and Nanny this afternoon. Thank you for letting me capture some really pretty moments.
